It was lovely to see everyone again after our extended break over Xmas and the New Year. We were holding a UFO (Un-Finished Objects!) day and there was lots of chatting and advice being asked for (and gladly given) on how exactly those projects could be finished. Some things do get finished of course and our 'show and tell' proved this. Des had a lovely lap quilt to show us. Diana had made a cushion cover from an old quilt, the edges of which had been destroyed by sunlight. Fiona had made a lovely bag from plain material that she had painted to give a squares effect. Gwyneth has been busy producing more wonderful miniatures. Tessa had finished her Cathedral window cushion from our May workshop and had also produced some very colourful cushions, and UFO tops - just to keep the theme of the day going!
We look forward to our February meeting when Sue Warren will be joining us for a workshop.
