So here we are at the end of September and just as we thought things were going to get better, we were going out more, some of us even enjoying a holiday, and we thought we might get to meet again, lockdown version 2 came along...... :(. As ever, stay safe out there and hopefully we can beat this thing eventually. On the bright side we have been able to carry on with our sewing of course! New member Carol Young has made a lovely quilt for her neice, Lotti Ladybird! Meanwhile other members have been busy sewing a variety of things, other than quilts! Carol E has been making cushions and bags for her linedancing group raffles and also finishing off her fractured squares mats. Elaine has made many dollies for various toddlers (and some leftover for the tombola stall at our exhibition). Gail also got a bit carried away with dolls, these are pincushions which again will appear on the tombola table, the fabric bag is for a friend though. Mair made this gorgeous rabbit bag for a little one just starting school and Tessa, as well as making facemasks to sell for charity, has also made some morsbags (https://morsbags.com/).
