Hi Everyone. Who ever thought I'd be writing yet another lockdown blog after a year. We are really hoping we will be able to meet again at the end of June. Meanwhile I'm sure you are all thankful for the crafting activities we can do at home. Carol E has been very busy and has managed to unearth some lovely Bear Paw blocks made with cosy flannel fabric some years ago. She has made them into a wonderful quilt for her son. Louise, Gaynor and Elaine have also been busy. Gaynor has made a Sam to go with her Sue (see last blog), Louise some lovely embroidery of cats for her son's girlfriend and Elaine making a striking baby quilt for baby Vita. We may not be able to meet physically but we have kept in contact monthly with some great zoom sessions. Following on from our Xmas star in December, in January we made some EPP hearts and in February Beryl showed us a Japanese folding technique. Gail and Elaine making theirs into handy tubs. We hope to carry on with zoom makes until we can meet again so members, please do join us.
