Who would have thought last February when I wrote the last blog entry that we would face a world pandemic and endure 100 days plus of lockdown.
I hope everyone has stayed safe and well and I know as a group of keen quilters we will have, to some extent, enjoyed the lockdown as it meant we could get on with our stitching! Many UFO's have been dragged out of cupboards and completed. A lot of stash has been used up in new projects (but we still seem to have a lot of stash left). Those 'block of the month' projects have been caught up with. Cards and postcards have been made. Many community initiatives have been joined in with; sewing scrubs, virtual quilts, stay safe houses, charity quilts to name but a few. Here are a few examples. Members please send me any photos you have of lockdown work and I will add to the blog, our first 'virtual blog' !
